Example Itinerary

Sani Pass & Southern Drakensberg Adventure

Depart from Hillcrest and travel through the scenic Midlands toward Cobham Campsite in the Southern Maloti-Drakensberg Park. Settle into camp beneath towering mountains and enjoy an evening around the fire surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Drakensberg wilderness.
Journey up the iconic Sani Pass, one of Southern Africa’s most legendary mountain roads, climbing from South Africa into the Kingdom of Lesotho through dramatic switchbacks and rugged mountain scenery. Enjoy lunch and refreshments at the Highest Pub in Africa before descending the pass and returning to camp.
Spend the day exploring the surrounding Drakensberg trails, mountain streams and waterfalls around Cobham. Relax beside the crystal-clear river winding through the campsite or enjoy a slower day immersed in the remarkable scenery of the Southern Berg.
Pack up camp and make your way back toward Hillcrest, travelling home through the rolling landscapes of KwaZulu-Natal.
