I’ve been exploring the African bush since 2008, travelling extensively throughout South Africa and developing a deep appreciation for its wilderness, wildlife, and the slower rhythm of life outdoors. Over the years, time spent in both private reserves and South Africa’s iconic national parks has shaped not only how I travel, but how I understand and value these wild places.
Much of this journey has been shared with my wife and children. We began exploring the bush together when our daughter was just six months old, and we haven’t stopped since. Travelling as a family through many of South Africa’s game reserves has given me a practical understanding of what makes a safari both meaningful and manageable — whether for seasoned travellers or families experiencing the bush for the first time.
I’m also a passionate wildlife photographer and an avid outdoor camper, drawn to experiencing the bush in an authentic, unfiltered way. Along the way, I’ve planned and embarked on countless journeys — for my own travels as well as offering trusted guidance to friends and family seeking memorable safari experiences.
